I have the rip cord and think it is the way to go. Increased my arrow speed 7fps over the standard 2-prong.

I have been using a WB for 5 years, and I haven't had the fletchng problems that alot of people claim. I like mine, and I'll stick with it until I find something I like better. You guys are right, though, you can't go wrong with a good fall away rest. Alot of my friends use them and have had no problems.

I shoot a PSE Nova, too, only mine is 7 years old. I used a drop away for a few years and liked it fine. Last year, though, I decided to change a few things. I went to carbon arrows, different broadheads, and the WB. I have not had a single problem with fletching on my arrows. Granted, though, I might not practice as much as some others do and the volume of shots might make a difference. I don't think it slows my arrows down significantly and I think the carbon arrows probably made up for any lost speed caused by the WB. Since switching, I have taken 6 shots at deer and have 6 kills. So it will work!!!

What other rests have you used for hunting?

I've used both. I like both. I really can't decide which one I like better. I've used the quicktune 2000 and the wb. I noticed no difference in speed or accuracy. I did notice some wrinkled vanes. I fixed that by switching to blazers.

The one complaint about the wb is it is a little noisy. On the quietest mornings you can hear the arrow slide across the bristles. The doe I shot at 7 yards didn't hear it, but it is louder than I like. My quicktune was definitely quieter with a little moleskin on the prongs.

Ditto, no moving parts to fail and the noise wasn't enough to alert a doe I shot Sunday night, and it was dead calm.

Noise hasn't been a problem for me, either. It's no louder that my old drop away.

I didn't want to be the first to say this......but this is exactly the reason I switched.
