I bought a factory wood handle for my Diamond and it doesn't look anything like that. EDIT: How did that happen?

It is one of a line of bows manufactured by Bowtech specifically for Gander Mountain and can only be bought there at a retail location. It is VERY similar to the diamonds, however has a different grip. Great bow if your on a budget.

I was considering getting one of those bows after the season. Do they make one that is comparable to the liberty?

Rick you are correct!!!

I called Bowtech and gave them the serial number and it came back as a 2006 Techunter bow made by Bowtech for Gander Mountain. They said that it is based on the Rapture (same IBO etc...) but with slightly different riser cuts, cam cuts and finish and the main difference the wood grip. It uses the Bowtech Solitaire cam and itretails for the same amout ($399.00)

All in all I am happy with this find.

I can make you feel good about your purchase. I just bought a Diamond Triumph for just under $500.00.

A $400 bow for $65, makes you wonder if it wasn't stolen.
Hope it wasn't, and hope you have fun with it.

I don't know what you guys are talking about....that bow is obviously a crossbow.

I also can't believe someone would sell a 2006 model bow for 65 dollars.

I was wondering the same thing the whole time I was looking at it. I didn't know what the retail value was at the time but I knew it was a newer bow. It wasn't the only stuff he was selling cheap either, he had lots of hunting and fishing gear. I bought some fishingpoles, plugs, broadheads, arrow case, bow caseetc... I spent over $150.00 when it was all said and done.
