Temps here in east TX are predicted to be in the mid to upper 80s for the next couple of days. Man that makes it hard to hunt in the middle of Nov. We had similar temps last year just before the rut and I believe it pushed the deer to nocturnal movement. I'm afraid it will happen again this year. We should get a cold front Friday evening, dropping Saturdays highs into the 60s. I hope that is not too little too late. We saw NO rut activity during daylight hours last year. A repeat of that would really stink!

Yea, the weather man said we could hit 90 here in NW Okla., but then it's supposed to cool off. I was thinking about hunting tomorrow evening, but think I'll just try to get some things done around home.

This will be the 4th year we've had above normal temps during the rut. We set records for highs the last two years! It's supposed to be 70's for the next few days and it's pouring rain right now. Of course, they're predicting wind too.[:@]
