Know of any "free" bowhunting videos? Here's one..

Hey Gang, who knows of any "free" videos archery-related companies are currently sending out? The reason I ask this is I was just looking through an issue of Bowhunting World, and saw a Double Bull Blind ad advertising "some of the finest bowhunts ever captured on film in Another Year on the Ground part III. $5 s/h." The shipping and handling costs are why I placed "free" in quotations, but -- heck, that's cheaper than most of the hunting vidoes out there.
So let's pool our resources: Who knows of similar offers out there?

Doesn't tree lounge have a free video with the "Hey lets go hunting" guy shooting more deer than the statewide Kansas population? Dean Durham I think is his name.
These video's are intended to be advertisements, but offering these to the public for free ain't a bad deal if you're into it.

ABM is correct too, if you think about it, most if not all hunting videos anymore are nothing more than advertisements. Each and every hunting professional has a product to sell,if not several. They have so many sponsors that they have to get in their plugs for making those hunts possible, I see more and more "free" videos, or "just pay shipping" videos than I ever have. ~Ben

Most of the "free" videos I have seen have been pretty lame. Lets watch some 16 year old kid shoot a small doe with a rifle. Oh boy, now that was exciting!!
I'd rather watch the outdoor channel.

Try "That's huntin' " 1 and 2 from Summit. they have lots of jabber about their stands, but the most REALISTIC hunts I have seen on tape so far.
Not everyone shoots at a "Monster buck" Kinda like the real world, and not everyone hits the mark...again, more realistic. You do NOT get the feeling they are hunting in fences or on game farms for the most part. Hell, it ALMOST looks like they shot it with a handy cam!

I have 2 Tree Lounge video's. The first one wasn't too bad. . . provided you don't mind watching a white-haired grandmother do a little jig after every deer she shoots. The 2nd one with "let's go hunt" Dean Durham was really bad. This joker sits up in his stand with a high powered rifle and picks off trophies from a game farm type setting. I never was able to finish watching it--and I like hunting videos if they're done right.
Today's small bucks are tomorrow's trophies.

I think the one Elimitrax sent me was fair for a free one, and I don't think they charged me shipping and handling either.
