Was there a doe with him? Congrats on the buck very nice. Reason I ask is I hear drury's state a hot
doe with a buck when they use a growl. Seems to me the doe not the product helped. I will have to try it

Great looking buck. Did you use the call without seeing deer or after you saw them? What I have read is that you can use it basically blind.
