is the post rut still anygood huntin cause im gettin a new bow on christmas and wanderin if it would be good then?

any time you cant hunt is good. The post rut will probly be over by the time christmas rolls around but hunting food sources is always good in late season. Also in my area around christmas the "second rut'' kicks in and i see a little bit more action.
