Well, tomorrow is the opening of the youth rifle hunt weekend. Then the next Saturday is the opening of rifle season state wide. I won't have my kids this weekend, and I haven't been cleared by my surgeons to hunt yet, but tomorrow I am going to get out of the house and go sit in my deer stand for the first time this year.




I can't shoot my bow orguns yet, so I am going to take my digital camera and my video camera to hunt with. Hey, it's not much, but when you have been stuck at home for two months and missing all of your deer season, you take what ever you can get.

So wish me luck, I hope I " shoot " a big one...LOL

Good Luck Michael T. Hey, at least your gettin out! I think it is kinda cool sometimes when you just hang out in your stand and take it all in. Sometimes I will sit in mine in the springtime just to seethe views. Have a good one!

If you could only see the My Pictures directory on my computer, its full of awsome pics from doing just what you're planning. I love being out there, hunting is about alot more than just killing, there are alot of times that the deer didn't come close enough for a shot and I wished I had grabbed my camera instead of my bow. Be sure to share your pics when you get back.
