Default Wisconsin Buck

I have been a long time lurker, just decided to join. I think I can offer some input here.

A little back ground on me I have 130 Acres That I put in QDM 5 years ago. Each year we are seeing better bucks.I have been hunting my whole life with my dad taking me out in the woods for as long as I can remember.

October 29 Started out just like any other day (a great day to be in the woods) I hunted most of the day only to come out to eat.About 4:00PM I saw a spike chasing a doe. I used the can and got him to come in.
10 minutes left of shootin light I see a 10 pointer come out about 70 yards North of me so I hit the CAN once and he stops and looks my direcection. I hit the can two more times and he walks right in to give me a twenty yard shot.
Just an awsome hunt. With all the trail cam photos I have of him, he is a nice buck to add to my collection.

Congrats Woodman!! That is one fine deer there. Welcome to HN as well. I've been using my can call on and off and haven't had much success as of yet. Sometimes I think the deer get used to a call with so many hunters in the woods blowing on every gadget imaginable. But who knows??
