Looks like a very nice three stand option from what I can see in the pic! Good luck tonight and hopefully we get anotehr good story.. downed buck or not!
It also must be nice to have enough big bucks that you have the opportunity to pass on a 130 class deer.

You know he isn't the dominant buck. Keep paitent the master will be trailing a doe soon. Hope you get a chance at him.

GregH.......are you against field sprays or order eliminating material. I used to have problems with deer picking up my trail.
Don't want to turn this into an argument at all......
Ever since I've been spraying my boots with that e enzym spray and storing my boots in a white plastic back with leaves I haven't had a deer sniff the old foot prints. He may be hanging in your garage right now if ya would have used some sort of scent elimination.

I don't have anything against scent control, if you think that it works for you, by all means go for it. Confidence in your setup is huge.
I was mainly throwing out grunting tips and pointing out that mature bucks sometimes will not cross your trail. Also, in case you missed it, I passed on this buck twice. He would nave been hanging in my garage long before he hit my trail.
I saw him again tonight and watched as he walked by.

Greg, it looks like you've got the handle on the technology here to answer my question, so you could you re-post that aerial pic with your entry and exit routes drawn in and labeled accordingly? Thanks.

Greg / MO,
I've shown you the routes I am currently taking to my stands. Sometimes they change according to crop rotation. Right now the field I walk through is plowed. Stand 3 is my SW wind stand. Stand 2 is myW wind stand (sometimes SW). And stand 1 is my NE, NW, W and sometimes SW wind stand. Anything else, just ask.

Thanks, Greg... I appreciate you taking the time to do that.
I am a bit confused by your wind directions, I guess... It seems as though every direction you've mentioned -- to me, from just looking at the map --would be totallyopposite of the direction you would need it for each of those stands... For example, stand 2 looks to be on the east side of that narrow funnel; a west wind would blow your scent across that little strip, while an east wind would blow it out across the empty field.
All the directions you mentioned for stand 1 would blow your scent straight to the buck bedding areas...
Maybe we're calling the same wind by two different names?
