Every time I turn around there's another one of you PA guys in the forum, I think the count is about12 PA's to each 1Non-PA (we definitely need to work on our QMM "Quality Member Management"), HNI is about to become PAHNI.

That and the fact that we have something like 260,000 licensed resident bowhunters in the state of PA.

you have to also consider that we have over 1 million hunters in this state. The most out of any state. I think that is why there are so many of us on here!

I did not notice but if it gets any more crowded then I will start feeling like I am actually hunting on PA public land instead of just visiting an online forum.

Is that why you've taken up hunting in my homeland of Wyo? It would takea LOT of those PA goats to add up to that buck youkilled in September.

PAbowhuntr, I hear that finding a "secluded" place to hunt on public land in PA is kind of like trying to ocean front in Arizona... is that really the case?

You can find a secluded spot, if you're blind, deaf and you zipshut the windows of your groundblind.

PA invented hunting. It is (or at least was) a religion here.
Are the schools closed in any other state for the buck gun opener?

When I was in school in Wyoming we always had the first thursday and firday of October off for "hunting days" as I got a little older, they changed it to fall break. Now if we could all talk our employers into that....

Can't on thegun opener b/c it always opens on Sat., but my little brother got out this year for the dove opener. That is saying a little.

All of my folks are from SW PA, so does that make me a PA man ??
