i had 4 scents spread out about 30 yards infront of me, and a doe came in smelled the air, and instead of walking straight past the scents she turned and went 10 yards up past the scents thancontinued walking.
do does sometimes avoiddoe in heatscents,or was it just the doe walking were it felt?

I used a doe in estrous scent drag on saturday for the first time. I had 5 does come into my set.....and had 2 feed within 5 yds of where I had the scent wick hanging in a tree. They never gave it a sniff that I could tell (and they were 3-4 yds dead down wind of it).
Just my observation.

I've seen does do the same exact thing. I could be wrong, but I think if the doe is not in her estrous cycle she probably doesn't want to step in that pee and smell like she is. Otherwise a buck may try to have his way with her, and she's not ready. Just my opinion.
