I saw what you were saying and I do agree somewhat. I think if you are for sure wanting and planning to kill a deer then yes you should wait, but I just want some meat and I love them hogs. lol I was just saying my general opinion.

I understand you. I'm glad you didn't take my post the wrong way.

I agree with you.....and it would have to be something EXTRAORDINARY (and legal) for me to shoot at.....if Im deer hunting. We don't have a Fall Turkey season, here. We hunt them Winter and Spring (NC).

I learned nothing from this thread, I actually feel dumber for reading it...kidding, j/k;)

Hey, if the kid learned something on his hunt, good for him. The cat and the deer lived,so nobody got hurt. Hopefully he won't make the same mistakes again.

Although I primarily am hunting whitetails, targets of opportunity present themselves. I will take turkey, bear and coyote while hunting deer.

Here are the lessons learned:

For gods sake don't shoot pets.

Don't shoot at anything with a "twisted" sight.

This post seems a little trollish.
