Opinions wanted.. Just added light to sight, should i cover the fiber optics or not?? Thanks...

don't know what you really mean by covering them but I bought the flip cover for my copper john .I think it's the think to have twigs & stuff will rip the pin up pretty quick.

If you're getting a halo because the light is too bright, then yes. I have that problem and I cover the fiber optics with a piece of felt that has adhesive on one side. I put the piece across the top pin, next to where it attaches to the housing. It really helped.

I guess i wasn't vary clear on my question. Sorry, I meant the wrapped portion..
