Default Two Does Down

I smacked these two does down on the last day of archery season in Northern NY. Was the first snow fall in my area for the year and things just came together. Field dressed at 110 and 120 lbs and aged at 3 years and 8 years. Striker broadheads are wicked and sure do like blood trails in the snow.

Bow season yes, but we can bow hunt through rifle season and you can bet I'm out there chasing Mr. Big. I just can't seam to put my bow down during rifle season.

Congrats on the par of does you got. Your season ended?? I am in the southern tier of NY and it doesn't end till Nov 17th then its shot gun till Dec 10th then Bow starts back up for another week. But at that point the deer are so spooked you don't stand much of a chance in the late bow season. Good job again!!

Very nice double. 3 years and 8 years old huh? I took a 6 1/2 year old (Aged by the PA Game Commission Biologists) last year here in PA and they said she had next to no teeth, they called her a gummer. I could just imagine what that 8 yr old had or should I say didn't have for teeth. Congrats!
