RE: Feltching Problems, Please Help
Be sure that the shaft and/or wrap are clean ( Bohning SSR works great), once it is clean try your hardest not to handle that part of the shaft. Place the shaft and the vanes into the jig and then I use Bohning instant fletch glue (Goat Tuff is great also) like others have posted lighten up on the amount, close your jig and let it set for about 3-4 minutes and then remove it and go to the next one. With all glues I don't shoot the arrow until the next day I like the glue to cure (just my 2 cents).

Ok well thanks for all the help on the FELTCHING problems!! LOL ( i didnt even notice) LOL
But now i have another question, Where can i get this goat tuff glue? Like do ihave to order it or can i get it at like wal-mart or a place like that? Also if i take off these vanes with out ripping them can i reuse them?? or do i need to get new ones? Thanks alot for all the help!! |
RE: Feltching Problems, Please Help
Goat tuff is overpriced super glue.
Same ingredients, different label, higher price. If you want to switch to Goat Tuff, just go buy a tube of regular super glue. |
