Default Awsome hunt last night w/pics

Took my 6 yr old out again last night. He has been out before but it was early season and the deer weren't moving like they were last night. I brought my bow with but I think that was just for cosmetic reasons. We sat in what we call a condo blind. It is really a rifle stand for my wife's grampa. You could shoot out of it with a bow but the deer would have to be in the perfect spot. I used it as more of a scouting mission. Anyway here are some pics of last night to tell the story.

On our way out to the woods. Had to have his Red Ryder. He was also carrying my pack.

Here he is flipping the CAN over. Believe it or not 10 min later a little 6point came with in 30yards of the stand.

Now he watches 5 deer walk through. Had to hold him back from grabbing the Red Ryder

That looks like the best hunting trip ever. I just recently had a son 6 months ago and am really looking forward to passing on the tradition to him as well!

A couple more. This one was after a 30min not seeing any deer and he asked when are the deer coming. It has been "forever"

last one, happy to be leaving. He had to pee. He made it until dark though.

My daughter is 22months old and I can't wait until she is old enough to tag along. That looked like a night to remember. He looks like a natural with that Red Ryder.

I remember those day swith my dad. Still love to look back and remember them. I want to take my son out, but my wife says that 9 months is too young He does already have his Red Rider though. His grandpa bought him that before he was even born.
