The stuff doesn't work in my experience so IMO it is a waste of money
I agree with hardcorehunter that stuff is no good here! I do like using cronks up here. Good Luck

I am surprized some of you guys have had Zero success using scents. I have had deer go out of their way to follow my scent trail. Nose to the ground like they were on a string. I use James Valley Gels and set the open bottle out at 20 yards and have had more than one deer stick his nose in the jar.
Of course homework and a good set- up is the way to go butnot alot of deer here and tough to pattern. Most of them eat nothing but browse and mast in season. No beans or corn and such. They might hit a backyard for some shrubs.
I say waste $20.00 on a bottle ofgood scent. Just don't get it at a Big Boxstore cause every guy for a hundred miles is using the same stuff and yah don't want tohunt educated deer. I like dumb ones.
Phil.. I know a couple of guys in ME. who hunt the big woodsand I used to send them a certain scent. When they were not road hunting (LOL) (Went Moose hunting 2 years ago in Portage)They would use a heavy scent trail thru that God awful brush to bring in cruising deer and they got deer. ME is known for big deer but not alot of them.Email you address Phil. I'm gonna set you up with ajar and you will come to the dark side.
If that does not work let me know. I have another method where I tie a bucks Gonads to a string and run around the woods grunting. Rock on and keep hunting>>>>>>>>>>&gt ;>Whack!

I think you may have missed understood me on this one. What I am saying is I have had no luck using Tinks products. I do like using Cronks as it is made here in Me. by a trapping supply company and for me I have had good luck with it. Up here the deer population is low in this area and with the coyte population and poachers you would be hard pressed to find a stupid one here. And yes it is thick here and I have taken three deer over the 200lb. mark over the years. But, now this area is full of poachers so it is hard to find anything for deer except around towns where there is people. I hunt for mine up in the woods though and coyotes take there toll on them as well. Not far from here they put a whole deer yard down on the ice. Most were does with fawns waiting to be born. About twenty three deer total without counting the fawns thought to total around fourty-five deer had they been born. So hunting here is always a challenge. And good luck on your hunting too.

I did misunderstand Phil. I did not think you used scents and havenever heard of Cronks. Send me their address will yuh. You are the perfect candidate for scents. Not alot of deer, hard to pattern ect. You can bring deer alot closer witha good scent as you know. I can't imaginge you have too many food plots to sit over unless it's a two year old clear cut. Love ME but man those deer numbers stink. Rock on and straight arrows.

Cronks is an outfit that makes lures and scents for hunters and trappers! As well as calls and a lot of other stuff up here.
