We need some details on to what you are shooting to know what will offer the best penetration. It sounds like you might be a young'in.

If your shooting a lighter draw weight (say in the 50s) I'd reccomend a good 3 blade broadhead like the Muzzys. I'm shooting a pretty fast bow at 66lbs and I shoot the Muzzy MX-4s and love them.

You know, you could do a searcg, or just browse through all the archery forums and see what people are saying. Trust me, there has been alot of discussion on all the subjects you have asked about thus far.

Ok, I think we all assumed that at this point!
Welcome to a great sport.
I am going to recommend that you visit your local archery dealer and talk to him/her about what you need and want. It would be best that you get properly fitted and shoot a bunch of bows. Some of us on here are veterans to the sport, not me, so judging what you should get by what we have would be inaccurate.
Where are you located? Are there any archery shops in your area?
PS Dont buy anything off the internet for your first bow!!!

Well, welcome to the forum and bowhunting. There are a lot of good broadheads out there these days. Like was said earlier though, we need more information to give you an exact answer. Post what type of bow you are using, poundage, and arrow speed if you know it.

I really like the slick tricks. What are your stats (bow poundage, draw length, etc...).

I was told by the guy at my pro shop to shoot the Spitfire XP Pro 100's- they are an expandable blade with 1 1/2" cutting diameter-

Another guy I know uses them and he shot 4 animals on an African trip and multiple deer last year- A couple of the deer he shot in the shoulder blade and it blew completely through both shoulders. He was impressed so I am trying them out. Plus unlike Muzzy's you dont have to resight your bow- these shoot exactly like a filed point which is nice-

I got Muzzy 100's before these- after the first shot into a target (which I almost missed because they dont fly right) two of the blades were bent so much I had to throw them in the garbage- wouldnt give you a nickle for muzzy's. Thats just my $0.02
