Default switching weapons???

How many of you people hunt with your bow right through muzzleloader and gun season? How many of you put the bow away and pick up a muzzleloader or rifle?

In Kansas, either sex archery tags are not good during the muzzle loader or gun season. Left over or game tags for anterless deer are valid in any season provided you use whats legal dureing that season. I believe you can hunt with a bow during rifle season. Your only allowed to shoot does though. I may be wrong on that one. I just pick up my 243 so I can reach out and touch something.

I rifle hunt a bit in PA and NY but not much. I don't take time off work to do it, I only hunt occasional weekends. During the PA and NY late seasons, I typically grab the bow instead of the muzzleloader unless my freezer is completely empty.

I've always bowhunted during muzzleloader seasons. I said I wasn't going to give in to the muzzleloader crazy since they were more rifle than a lot of rifles. But alas, I ordered a muzzleloader from Len this year. He didn't get my scope in in time for me to use it during New Yorks northern tier smokepole season though. I'll make a trip during the late season in the southern tier maybe. I don't really have a place to hunt with a gun here in Maryland.

I normally use the bow throughout the front stuffer and rifle season, simply because I usually have an extra archery tag left (and you can use your bow to fill your firearm tag here). This year I have no archery tags left so my bow is put away for the winter

I have 1 buck and 2 doe tags left. I have filled 1 each of buck and doe with my bow and hope to tag out with my bow this year. I usually hunt general season with a ML but not this year. Or at least not until after the rut. Now that I got my first bow buck I want to keep the ball rolling and get a large buck this year. I have a couple of stand locations that I think may allow me to accomplish this goal.

I hunt the gun (slug shotgun) season as well as bow hunt, hell I can't wait for upland birds to open. I've already bagged two Coyotes with my rifle as well. I just love to hunt and I will use any weapon I can get my hands on to do so. I haven't taken up muzzleloaders yet............but it's still an option.

I bowhunt right through our "anyweapons" season. I will take my rifle a little more now that I have two young sons that want to tag along.
