By the end of this season I should have well over 20 deer hides, what do you think I should do with them all? I was thinking some sort of blanket, but from what I hear deer hair is too fragile for that. What do you think? My mother is a real good sewer, and has a machine that can sew through like 7 layers of leather, so thats not a problem, and my buddies dad is a taxidermist, so he can tan it for me. All I need is some ideas.

Hmmmm.......your going to have to tan the hides, which from what I understand is not a real easy thing to do, but there are some places you can send them out and have them done............this place will tan 'em for for about $30 each, then either return them to you or make something from them like gloves, jackets, of vest. How about a rug for MY shop?
