Default Year 2 and Deer 2!

Well I got my second bow deer this AM in this my second year of bow hunting. A nice doe for the freezer. I want to thank a couple of members of this forum for thier help in teaching this novice bowhunter. First Davidmil for letting me know that I don't have to cut down the entire darn forest to place a stand and still have shooting lanes. And second Rob/PA Bowyer for this what tdo after the shot recovery thread.
I took my climber with me today to my favorite stand of oaks. I knew deer had been feeding in there and thought I might see some activity today with the approaching cold front. At 7:30 I saw 3 does in the pasture 75yds out by my Nikon 440. I tipped my Lohmans can twice and one of the does headed my way. She came into the oaks and started feeding on acorns. In the time it took her walk over I managed to get myself calmed down. When given the opportunity I drew and found a clear lane to take a shot. She was broadside at 10 yds. The arrow passed through and the Muzzy 100gr buried itself 6" in the dirt. I was afraid I hit her too far back and confirmed this when she ran into the pasture. She stopped for a bit and I glassed her. I saw that my shot was indeed back. The doe then took off again. I took the shot at 7:45. I came out of the tree at 10:45 and then went to my truck. I started tracking at 12:00 noon.
I found the spot I last saw her and marked the bright red blood she left behind. (Bright blood on arrow also). From there I followed the blood trail, marking each spot along the way with TP. I found her about 100 yds from where I last saw her. The shot took out one lung, the liver and also hit the paunch.
Tenderloins for dinner. Thanks guys for the lessons.
