i dont buy it. if that is indeed the arrow in flight and the deer never moved thats a DEAD DEER..ATLEAST 1 lung and probably the heart with a nice low exit spilling blood ALL over the ground...i just dont buy it...if thats not a perfect hit i better not even shoot at a deer coz thats right where i woulda put it too..maybe a tad higher to be safe but that would be a killing shot. the next fram of the video probably shows the deer jumping and just getting grazed..but if that arrow flight is TRUE and straight it would been a lung and heart i bet. the arrow could be heading more downward then it looks and just grazing it..but if it penetrated through the ribs it would be dead i think

That 'arrow' looks like it was made in Microsoft Paint.

I've slow mo'd hundreds of shots on dvd at deer and that looks fake.

See the 'trail' the deer is making from moving? (how its blurry) Well the arrow is moving a lot faster, Why no arrow trail??? (arrow isn't blurry at all)

Jac, I thought the same thing.

It just looks fake to me.

It may indeed be fake, but I'm not here to decide that. What I do know for certain is this. There have been lots and lots of people shot in the chest through one lung that have lived. Not the norm mind you, but it does happen. I've worked several car crashes in which victims had a pneumothorax (which coincidentally is one of thecauses of death in an arrow shot deer) that survived.

My point is this....Though rare and not likely, it's possible to run an arrow through a deer's chest and NOT kill it....think about it...

Do those deer get rushed to a hospital and have surgery performed on them by a specialist and then go to the ICU?

Looks fake to me too- look at the difference in the grasses... either way I would think it should be dead.

Charlie, I see your point, but do you deny that a deer could survive that?
