Default Reminder about broadheads

As I'm typing this I had a bandage on the thumb of my left hand.

As I was unscrewing a broadhead from one of my dad's arrows so I could wrap it and refletch it for him, my thumb slipped and I cut it nearly to the bone.

Be careful folks, it can happen to ay of us.

Yep its a learing experiance that you should only do once! I have a scar on my hand were the thumb goes in the hand. Hand sliped and instinct was to catch arrow! Cost me 200 bucks and four stitches!

I honestly can't believe I did it.

One of those deals where you think "Oh, it won't happen to me. It hasn't yet, so it won't."

Well it did.

Those Muzzy's are damn sharp, and I've got proof.

It was a learning experience though, definitely.

I did that once too but with the Satelite aero broadehads. Sliced my middle finger right across the tip through the finger nail and down the other side.

I didn't think I could get so much blood to come out of a finger.

Yea, I always use the tools when I can. Not worth the pain of a nasty cut when you can do it safely.

My slick tricks got me last month. The broadhead was sticking out the back of my yellowjacket target so I tried unscrewing it rather than pulling it through. Sure enough I sliced open my left thumb and index finger. Careless.
