We are about to get our 1st really good front this year. It is due some time tomorrow with AM temps in the 40s. I am taking 2 vacation days to take advantage of the change. I will be out all day Thursday, Friday, and as much as possible on the weekend. I really like this new job I got over the summer. It affords me a lot of time to hunt. Things are really looking good. God is good to me!

Yeah.. here in Indiana... we're supposed to be getting our first cold blast.. maybe even some sub freezing temps. It just so happens that I'm off from 10-13 to 10-18.. planned this vacation a few weeks ago before we knew anything about the front coming through. [8D]

Excellent! Wish you the best of luck! I have a ton of time to hunt this year too. I am not working and hubby works 3rd, so I can hunt every evening if I want to. Unfortunately, with our cold front is coming 30mph winds and thunderstorms... so I won't get out until Friday night at the earliest, probably Saturday morning... but it should be good hunting going from 75 degrees to rain, then to just cold temps.... looking forward to it.

I was blessed with a government job, so I get 10 paid holidays every year. So I just came off a 3 day hunting trip last weekend for columbus day. Veterans Day is another 3 day weekend.

I'm doing the same thing. I have fall break at school so I'll be taking vacation from work on Friday. This cold front coincides with fall break perfectly. I'll be chasing a monster that was kicked up by my stand last week. Wish me luck!
