In the words of Arnold "It is not a Tumor."
I also cant remember what the name of the cyst is. But if you ask me its some of the grimlin deer. Some how he got water on his back and they should sprout anytime now. So watch your back when entering the woods. lol :D |
RE: What do you think is wrong with this buck?
Ok folks, now if faced with an ethical solution to dealing with this buck, what would you do if presented a shot? Try to take it out of the heard? Let it walk? Kill it and donate the venison? I'll have to be totally honest with ya, I wouldnt eat it, or for that matter want to give it to anyone else to eat it. How about if you only had one buck tag? Would you burn it to do the "Right" thing, and put it out of it's mysery?

RE: What do you think is wrong with this buck?
any chance someone tried to poach it. It has an arrow or something broke off in it and the got an infection?
The reason I ask if you look at the pic you can see a spot up on its shoulder that looks as if it had been stuck or shot. Not sure about the black spots, unless thats a sign of infection/tumor? Dunno? Craig |

He's obviously carrying his left front leg. Hard to believe it's an infection that big but stranger things have been seen.
