What Do You Do To Pass The Time On Stand?
So what does everyone do to pass the time on stand? When it gets real slow I pull out some sort of handheld game, with the sound off of course and play that to pass the time. What do you do?

Well i oculd never play a game while hunting because i would be to worried a monster would come buy at that time and i couldnt get ready in time to make the shot.
But what i do is try to watch anything thats out there, squrriles, rabbits, fox, birds,
But if i get reall bored LOL i try to guess what time it is. LOL
Try and see how close you get.
Thats pretty bad, but its what i do. lol

I don't have one of those, should get on, I'm thinking Texas Hold'em.

i dont think i could play a game in the tree stand....i would get mad and start cussing throw the *@#@**%%*# on the ground when i started loosing real bad...Books are good if you dont like books get a playboy and look at the picktures...

Actually I should also include that I thought of this post while sitting in my treestand this afternoon. I only pull the games out when I get really bored. I have a nice assortment on my cell phone that I play, including the game Deer Hunter.[8D]I always make sure the phone is set to silent though so it willnot make any noise at all. On realtree roatrips they always show Michael Waddell playing Yatzee.

I was sitting on stand today for over 7 hours straight. Things I did to pass time were:
1. Observe the various birds gliding on the gusty winds near my stand.
2. Anticipate where the deer will enter my shooting lane from.
3. Wonder why I didn't dress warmer than I did.
4. Second guess my setup.
