Well, I got woke up today by a phone call... at 7:57am there's only one person that would be calling, and if *HE* was calling, he either fell outta his stand or got a deer.... So my hubby got out this morning and 12 minutes after he was in his stand a nice 5 point comes out and he double lungs him. He couldn't see the arrow hit, so he wasn't sure he hit it, but the buck only ran about 40 yards and he heard a thump. He looked out into the field and there he lay with steam coming out of his side... perfect double lung hit! I was happy for him, it's his first buck in 4 years (since I started hunting) and his first bowkill in about 6 years. Pics will follow, they are getting developed right now... tried to take a couple with the digital, but I just can't get the lighting issues right to get it to turn out.

Yah, I was excited for him... I will probably post pictures late tonight because I have to pick up the film and then go to a family thing... *rather be hunting*
