I'm sorry, but I'm not buying into all this "NEW" GROWL that they're trying to push. Sounds you hear recorded depend on equipment used. Now because the Drury boys have a NEW call out, The Growler, we have people popping up saying they heard a GROWL. Usuallypeople that don't post I might add. Almost Troll like. Another few thousand hunters will rush to buy their Growler. I'm sorry but I was hunting before the Drury boys were born, and I'm not buying Growling. I like them, but this sounds like a big commercial to me. It slays me the number of times a guy is put on video and it's cloudy or over cast. He blows his call he's selling and the next scene it's sunny and he shoots a buck in full sunshine or visa versa. Obviously bad set management when it came time to do the commercial.

I first heard a growl last fall while rattling a nice buck in. He came in growling and died growling. I was like did I just shoot a sick deer. Its a very earie sound to hear, still sends chills up my spine. But something tells me what you may have heard wasnt quite a buck growl. It was something else. MAD Calls did a fine job of replicating the sound in my book. I own a buck growl call and when used properly it sounds just like a growl, not to mention the grunts you make with the call are excellent.
