Someone initially made this thread a few days ago but I think it waslost when they updated the site. At any rate, today was my 3rd day in the woods since the season opened and the weather was crappy because of a nor-easter, rain and wind! The rain mostly stopped around2:30PM, so I went in to one of my stands thinking there would be some activity. I saw this fat ground hog. Every time I see him I also see deer for some reason.
That little voice said you'll see something today for sure, mind you I haven't seen any deerat all so far this season. Sure enough at 4:10PM I hear a little twig break and very slowly turn to see an 8ptonly 20 feet behind and to the right of me but offers no good shot opp! That was the only deer I saw. Can't wait till that little voice speaks to me again

Yeah I listen to my little voice . Still gets confusing but I do my best,
Four years ago a little voice told me to drive five miles walk to a fire lane and turn left .Go 70 paces and stop. When I stopped a hog came out I killed it.

Two years ago I found a new place for deer hunting.Little voice said use the CAN call and read 5 chapters of St. John On chapter 5 of John..a spike walked out I shot it.

Today a little voice said you will get an opportunity today. I didn't believe ..and hung up my bow. A doe walked within 10 yds. I'm back to listening to my little voice.

The problem is... discerning which little voiceto listen too. There seems to be a few of them.LOL
