Target antlers - good for rattling?
Hey all,
I have a Mckenzie target that came with a set of antlers. Can I use these antlers for rattling or should I buy antlers made for rattling ? I don't want to spend more money if I don't have to.
Any thoughts on this would be great.

They won't sound as realistic as a real set of antlers but anything is possible, I once rattled in a buck with a aluminum arrow against my bow riser.

The horns on a Mckenzie are more like a rubbery plastic. They won't have the sound or tone to them. I'd just go get yourself a rattlebag from Wallyworld for $10 or under. They work well and easy to carry
