I posted last night on the same topic. I saw 4 bucks fighting last night. 2 sixes and 2 eights going at it about 20 feet away from each other. I'd call it very rough sparring. It definitely got my heart pumping! I've only seen that on videos.

I hunt around the LaCrescent/Houston area. I talked to my dad who was out last night and he had 6 bucks and 1 doe feeding in the same alfalfa field. All peaceful, no chasing, no sparring, nothing. It must just depend on everyones mood. Either wayI love seeing bucks early in the season. Bucks fighting is something is a great sight.

I have seen alot of bucks this season. I have seen two buckssparring 2 different occasions but soft sparring in bachalor groups. I am starting to see more rubs and scrapes already too. I am in central Minnesota.

I've been seeing the rubs/scrapes, but no rough housing just yet. Everything seems to be calm around me around the New Prague/Henderson area.
