I found a pack at Sam's club of all places and it is very nice. Has all the pockets and even a hydration pouch. It's camo, quiet and waterproof. All for $50. Good luck, when they get something good in they usually go fast. ;)

I agree with Davidmil on getting a larger pack. After all, you don't have to fill it up. I was in the same position two seasons ago, and when I was ready to enter my CC # on Cabelas I decided to go see what ebay had. I ended up buying a really nice, brand new pack from a place called something like Packusa or Packwarehouse. But anyway it had all the features I was looking for and looked to be almost exactly like the one I was going to buy for around $100. I went ahead with the buy it now price of like $28. After tax and shipping it was around $35. It is still a little on the small side if you were going to go back packing, but great for an all day hunt. Mine is stuffed completly full and I carry - rain coat, thermos, water bottles, piss bottle, binoculars, MRE's (just in case), hot seat, rope, multi tool, extra hat/gloves/socks, small survival kit, calls and lures. It too has chest and stomach straps, which I think is a great feature. Not only for not having the pack feel as if it wants to slide off your shoulders at the wrong time, but also to strap it to a tree so that it is near you and not in your way when you stand up in your stand. It also has two straps on the back for extra cargo which comes in really handy when hoisting up the tree. I use them to secure my bow.

I second the Badlands pack suggestion. No you can't get it for $50 but they have an unconditional lifetime warranty. You break it they fix it for free, forever and most people aren't rough enough on them to tear them up. They are built hella stout.

I'd go to Bass Pro or whatever hunting store is nearby and pick out one that you specifically like. Personally, I believe in buying high quality stuff taht I'll probably never have to replace. SPend $40 once, and you may never have to spend any more ever. I still have my book backpack (not for hunting) from college that I bought 20 years ago. And it still is in great shape.

Badlands backpack! Hands down the best pack you can get.
http://www.archerywarehouse.com/Backpacks.html I own the super day pack shown here. I put my bow on the pack and off I go :D

If you dont want to pay that much I just saw a "Texas Tropy Hunter" pack at Academy that had a water bladder, looked quiet, roomy and had a headlamp attatched to it as well. Looked nice.
Didnt have a place to attach your bow though:(

Can't go wrong with the Badlands.

It's a little more than $50 bucks, but well worth it!!!! I've had a Duluth Pack for 20 years(believe me it gets USED), and it's still good as new(well maybe not new, but no holes or anything)!!

Check out BassPro shop packs. Just ordered one for myself. I like mine to be light weight and waterproof.

After further consideration I offer this. Get the little misses into hunting. Give her a couple shopping bags from Sears and let her carry your stuff for you.
