Rubber Boots

How do you get them ready for the season. I sure don't wanna use any chemicals on them (cleaning solutions). DO you just scrub them up inside and out with water and a brush??

this may sound crazy but it works go out in your yard and dig a hole and put the boots in and cover them up leave them there for a few days, thats what I did.

I just wipe them down with a wet rag and let them dry. After they are dry I spray scent a way spray on them and put them somewhere where they will not be touched until I need them. Make sure that they are not in a place where their are a lot of foreign smells.

See I read if you spray them with scent killer, the chemicals react with the rubber, actually causing an odor. That's the reason for the post.

I clean them at the end of the season, that way they have all year to air out!!! Plus they don't sit all year rotting!

I scrub them with Baking Powder.

I leave mine in a small plastic tub with an HS Scent Wafer (Earth Scent) and then spray the bottoms down with scent killer before walking to my stand. Seems to work pretty well for me.

Also, since I really started using Scent-Lok this year I'm making sure to put my pants over the top of my boots to catch any odors escaping out the top.

I just leave mine outside upside down (so they don't fill up with rain) on some fence boards in the shade. I've never washed them, but I have sprayed scent killer on the insides.
