Default Birthday Deer Down!!!

So after a long nite out on Sunday nite, celebrating my 21st birthday, I crawled out of bed yesterday and attempted to go hunting. It was my birthday yesterday and I figured i might have some birthday luck. I got to my stand overlooking a large cornfield at 430 and i knew it would be a good afternoon. Deer were moving all over the place, and at 530 i saw a mother and fawn in the field next to me. After calling a few time they crossed the sugar cane and came into my cornfield. The fawn stayed behind and the mother slowy worked her way along the edge, stopping and eating corn right off the plant, every few feet. She came about 7 yards away from me and i drew back, she had no clue i was there. However, she was directly facing me and was pigging out on a large piece of corn. I held the bow for about 2 minutes and i carefully let back down on the string, and amazingly she didn't hear or see me. (That corn must have been delicious) She turned to the side and I drew back a 2nd time and let the arrow fly. She ran about 60 yards and then hit the ground. She was a huge doe, and it was not fun dragging her out. A great birthday gift that i'll never forget.

Congrats, huge doe.

Happy birthday too! I have no idea how you were able to go hunting the morning after your 21st. My face was in a toilet bowl all day after my 21st..

That is exactly the deer that I'm after every single year. I'd like 2 or 3 of those and I'd be a very happy camper.
