Default Stropping with Notebook Paper

I was bored sitting at my desk this morning waiting for an email. I have a couple Montec 125 heads laying on my desk that I was using for target practice(I have a broad head target setup in the basement) I grabbed the heads and used a pad of paper to strop them on. WOW the paper cleaned the edges up great and they are shaving sharp again!! Just passing it along to all you sharpening guru's and wanted to get some feedback. I know the paper is an abrasive material but I am impressed with the results.

Using a strop (flexable material usually leather) to remove microburs from the edge of a blade to make them razor sharp. The act of using a using a strop is stropping.

I've used cardboard on the past, but not paper. Did you use any abrasives such as polish?

Ummm...cool...BUT?
Broadheads at work...waiting for an email....sharpening your broadheads?
If I was your boss, I would be scared?jk jk
Actually, I see you didnt specify where you were, but if you were at work..I would be scared.
I can see it now, "Hey Sal, did you see Andrew this morning? He was waiting for that email from the boss about the pay cuts? Yeah, no crap, I walked by his cubicle and he was just sharpening these nasty looking broadheads. Yeah, I think he shoots a bow. Scary huh?"

Yep, at work waiting for an email. My boss and I used to shoot in the mornings and at lunch a few days a week in the basement. I have a broadhead target and a 3d target setup down there. They draw the line at wearing camo though

Bob I just used a note book pad of paper. I have used news paper in the past and gotten great results. I was just impressed with how effective the pad of paper did in bringing the edge back. It is worth a try.

How are the benefits structured again? Can my office just be in the basement? All I'm going to need is a red stapler and I should be good to go.
