ORIGINAL: RDHunter A friend of mine did that once and some others hunters found it . They thought the dummy was real and tried talking to it when it didn't respond they thought the dummy was a dead hunter in the stand and called the police out to investigate. |

I think its all a gimmick to make money. If you deo your home work with scent, wind, and cover, you should never have to worry about being spotted. Of course it has happened to the best of us at one point in time, however, no often enough to buy a dummy

Back on topic, if you want to condition deer to someone being present in your stand, tie a white rag to the bottom of the stand. The deer will see the rag blowing in the breeze and will become conditioned to the movement. |
