Default just a reminder...

i know we all know....but figured id share a little story and remind us all since the seasons are starting here QUICK if they arent already started.

the girlfriend and I stopped at dicks sporting goods the other day before work. she doesnt hunt and was never around the type of lifestlye i live until me. i was going through the archery isles making sure i got everything i need and nothing caught my eye and no sales...she says "a saftey harness? i duno what it does but the guy is in a treestand..you just bought a treestand you better buy this!" i said i already had one..she said "well..its a saftey thing..i dont know what it does but you better be wearing it!" pointless story....except for the fact she doesnt hunt or know much about it but she still knows you should have a harness on. wear em guys....5 foot high or 50 foot high..if you leave the ground get one on!! although i feel 100% safe in my summit viper(even when im climbing) i wear it the WHOLE way up AND down attached to the tree. something goes wrong im going to live to hunt another day. alot of guys wear them but not when climbing. what happens when your stand slips somehow..someway and you loose your balance and you slip with it or you just loose your balance somehow? just thought id remind us all to use them!! we got alot of stories and pics to share...dont wanna hear anyone had an accident that should never happend!...good luck this season...have fun....and BE SAFE!
