Just the first step in creating my own archery shop... Gonna be a long time coming. |

You could always build one for about $2. Cabinet rollers and pine:

RE: spin testing arrows
I have a friend watch me shoot. It won't catch really minor wobble, but I think it catches anything significant.

RE: spin testing arrows
ORIGINAL: goherd1111 Hold your hand out palm side up and spin the arrow and broadhead on theend of your middle finger. You can really tell if there is any wobble at all. good luck OUCH!!! |
RE: spin testing arrows
We all spend hundreds of dollars on the best, fastest bows. Tons of time practicing shooting, stand hanging, etc. and then you want to skimp on the most vital piece of gear between a dead deer, missed deer or worse a wounded deer.
Don't be cheap about it, buy a spin tester. I bought one years ago for less than $30 and I have not needed another one. Once in a lifetime purchase if it is a good one. Here is where I got mine: http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templa...amp;hasJS=true |
RE: spin testing arrows
I would think twice about the broadhead in the hand trick. You might get a nice liability policy before you reccomend something like that MOBO.

RE: spin testing arrows
I spin mine on a table if its a cut on contact. If not, spin it in your palm. Just spin it, you dont need any fancy smacy device.;)
