Seriously though, if he got out of his pen and became wild....
He wouldn't be "wild" , he'd be someone else's property as evidenced by the ear tag , and probably a tattooed lip or implanted RFID chip . You couldn't check that buck in without somebody asking questions , and then you'd probably have to compensate the registered owner .

Deer aren't meant to be livestock , and this post perfectly exemplifies why they shouldn't be .
First of all Kevin, I was making a joke, as was exemplifed by my huge smiley face that was located at the end of my post. Of course I realize that you would not be able to check the buck in, and of course I realize the buck wouldn't be "wild". There is, however, a deer ranch near me, and the owners have both told me that they have had bucks get out, never come back, and, as far as they know, werent shot.

A agree, deer are not meant to be livestock

It seems those without a sense of humor cannot take a joke...[:'(]

Wow... I bet that deer has an ouside spread around 40". That'd be big for a Mulie, let alone a Whitetail.

The deer is just shedding his summer coat; that's all.

Nice buck.

Thats gotta be the biggest non typical buck I've ever seen in my life.
PASS ON HIM not in your life , I would shoot that big boy in a New York second.
Right after I change my shorts.

Price tag or not - if walks in front of my stand an arrow will be in the air (that is of course if I do not pass out first)! I do not think I would even notice the tag in his ear - I would be too busy drawing (or waking up after I falling out of my stand).
