holy cow!! that just got my heart pumping! i honestly think that makes my heart beat faster then a buck! dont get me wrong. i love deer hunting. but turkey hunting is my passion. i absolutely love turkey hunting. im not great at fall hunting..i always seem to be one step behind the flock..but ill get the hang of it sooner or later. i got some big mechanicals that fly great in the case waiting for the season..then they will go in the quiver! im already considering bowhunting in the spring though this is my first year bowhunting. im not great at spring hunting either...but when i dont have any interuptions i can usually get them to play. year after year i have more run ins with idiots though. we will see. ill kick myself when i have a longbeard on my lap and have to clobber him with a still load of Hevi shot..when i could took him with a bow no problem. good luck gettin him! thats a big ole boy!! chances are though hes there now....he just might show back up in 2 weeks. but it seems fall birds move around ALOT. thats why im always a step behind them. ive found food sources JUST recently used....and no birds...and the birds never come back lol. just moving on to the best foodsource. gota get fat for winter...

Looks like he's got a double beard, excellent bird. I couldn't make out any spurs, strange. Nice picture also.

I agree...there is just something about turkey hunting that deer hunting doesn't quite offer...don't know what it is...but I enjoy turkey hunting more!

Nice birds and thanks for sharing the pics...
