Was that a hot wire?

Yeah, he had 2400 volts go from his mouth straight to ground.OUCH!

That Bear dug up what we call a secondary pedestal.The wires in it are generaly 120/240 and will be fed from a padmount transformer and then out to houses.Cool pics,I'll have to show all my other lineman buds at work.Thanks.
