mosquitoe repellent?

Hi all,

Whats the best way to repell mosquitoes without buying a bug suit. Something that would not put off scent. Or could you just use something like cutters and then use a scent eliminator over that? Maybe a home made brew?

Thanks all!

I don't use anything and just deal with the little $%#@&*'s. The frost ought to kill em in another couple weeks.

try a thermocell misquito repellent unit cheap I have herd good things about them. They are good for and area around 10-12ft depending on how windy it is, they attach to your belt or to your tree stand. http://www.mosquitorepellent.com/realtree.html

If you are in a tree stand of blind, Get a thermocell. I got one two years ago and have not had a problem since. The thremocell also is scent free.

Defiently get a Thermacell. I use mine every time I'm hunting. Some of these Georgia mosquitos look like lil' turkeys flying around you. HAHA

I'm gonna have to get one of those Thermacells. How is it not detected by the deer, if a mosquito can smell it.

For now - I treat my clothes with permanone. It has an active ingredient of Permathrin in it. Keeps them away for the most part from your clothes, but they still bite my neck, face, ears, hands, and fly up my nose.
