Video Camera tree mount
Does anyone here have a link to a place that sells these? I want to film my own hunts, but I don't want to attach my video camera to my bow or gun. I have seen those models that do so and they are very expensive. Also I do not want to ruin my camera. So if anyone knows of a good tree bracket for video cameras so I can film my hunt up in my tree stand, please let me know. Thanks in advance,
Nina

Piebald, those cameras that mount on your bow or gun will "jump" when you fire or release depending on what your hunting withand you'll miss the hit. Using a tree mount cam you sort of need to know the general area that the deer will be in when you take your shot. Hope this helps.
Just curious, how did you come up with your user name? I killed one two years ago, they are a unique trophy.

RE: Video Camera tree mount
I have used the Gorilla and the Pine Ridge Archery one. I prefer the Pine Ridge Archery Pro-Bow-Cam. Here is a link:

Cabelas has it a little cheaper:

Piebald, that's awesome. Is that buck totally black? I've only seen pictures of them, I think the are much more rare than a piebald. The one I shot two years ago, I got on my trail cam a few timesfirst which was cool. So I have before and after pics! It was a small doethat was mostly all white with some matching brown areas on both sides. There is another one about a half mile away which I also got on my cam.
Where are you from Piebald?

I have the gorilla and it was cheap and works just fine.
Bought the one in Cabelas that mounts to your bow via the stabilzer hole.
Long stroy short it wrecked my sony camera after 2 shots thru a Q2 mathews, not kidding either.
The gorilla is really easy to strap on to the tree also. I video taped my hunt this past week and it turned out nice.

Pine Ridge Archery has a real good one. call 877-746-7434 ask for Brain Bychowski he can set you up for around $ 45.00. I got three of them for our team last month and they work great.
Good Hunting.
