06 Parker Frontier Bow
#1
Hey im kinda new to bowhunting, and I just bought a new 06 parker frontier outfitter packagebow, about 2 weeks ago, I was wondering if there is any adjustments or tuning I need to have done to it. Already got my pins sighted in, took it to a local bow shop, and theyput my string loop on,and seems to be shootingon the money, only one thing it has a wisker biscuit on it, and after I shoot about 20 times with the same arrow one of the vanes will start to peal off the shaft, what would be causing this?

Well, it could be one or all of may things. It sounds like the bow is not tuned or the Biscuit is not installed correctly. Installed correctly with the correct size opening (very important) and the bow tuned you should not experience the problem you are.
With a Whisker Biscuit it's best to start with these basicsettings and then adjust/tune from there.
Set at center shot to the string
Set so the arrow is 90 deg.to the string (perfectly level arrow)
Set so the biscuit it's self is level. (not tilted in or out)
Set the tiller even
Make sure you have the correct size opening, the arrow should rest only on the black bristles. You should be able to see light around most of the arrow.
From there you can start to tune and in my experience it won't take long to get perfect arrow flight and no wearto your fletchings. I have vanes that have been shot thousands of times throughmy Whisker Biscuit with no signs of wear.
Hope this helps....good luck

I've shot a Parker and have killed many deer with it. It will work fine for you. As far as the WB, they are know for eating your vanes over time. You either accept the fact of it or try another rest.

Parkers are great bows, I have always said.........you can't go wrong with ANY bow from ANY of the well known manufacturers. As long as you do you job, it will do it's.
Good Luck.
