Well, i went hunting tonight after the rain and not 10 mins after i got in the blind here cam the deer wading through the water i go to see 2 does with 2 fawns and the last deer i saw was a spike still in full velvet woulda made a cool plaque buti wanna let him grow just thought i would share the info

Let them go so they can grow, but could it have been a doe with spikes? I hear more and more about antlered doe, that would be cool. It reads like you have a good spot Oneshot7. It'll just be a matter of time.

no it wasnt an antlered doe this spikes mom was killed therefore he was never kicked out so the future looks good right now but i have still gotta see my batchlor group i got on camera

I have a 6 point runing around in velvet on the land I am hunting. I had 4 separate bucks on the cameara last weekend and 3 of the 4 had shed their velvet.

be sure to check with local laws about shooting deer still in velvet. In Wisconsin you can shoot a deer while in velvet, but it is angainst the law to possess any antler that is still in velvet. One of the many stupid laws our lovely governament has come up with.
