RE: Rests and Vanes????
As far as blazers go, their real feature in my opinion is durability.
They work AS good as a 4 inch vane but won't curl or warp and will survive passthroughs on targets that would ruin a regular vane. I tried Duravane Predators as well, but they don't have the durability or the stiffness that the blazers have. The one problem I have with blazers is that they're so stiff, if I don't do a really good job gluing them on they can get knocked off. |
RE: Rests and Vanes????
I have a Whisker B on my Tribute, I'm not happy with it. The vane wear is evident. I'm unsure about the drop away style rests. I was thinking of going back to the prong style. I should take another look at the drop aways.

RE: Rests and Vanes????
Well I went and bought the Trophy Ridge Dropzone. The first thing I noticed was the speed increase. It really seems like I have flinging my arrows in there alot faster and harder. For accuracy I didn't notice any difference yet, but I was trying to get my pins set on so I am not to concerned with that yet.
I am going to get about a half dozen arrows with the Blazers and see how they work. The only negative I have heard on them was that they don't steer the broadheads as good as the bigger vanes. |
RE: Rests and Vanes????
I shot alot this afternoon and my accuracy has went through the roof. I'm shooting groups at 50 yards now, that I was shooting at 30 yards with my biskit. Worth the money so far, no it just needs to past the test in the deer woods.
