I rattled in a nice 12pointer and he got about 10 yds when i drew for the shot. I got half way back in my draw and my relase loop broke and the arrow sailed about 10 feet over him. I could have cried. That was the biggest deer i have ever seen and somethin like that had to happen. Its crazy

My buddy had a 150+ class buck broadside at 20 yards and had the pin that holds the head of his Scott Lil' Goose snap!!! He found his arrow about 100 yards out in the field. Never seen the buck again.

...Hmmm, by definition I would add that to the list on the "Murphy's Law" thread.
You have my sincere condolences.<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Murphy joins me on my hunts too. Sorry to hear about that. Last year the rubber tube that aligns my peep snapped while I was at full draw.
Noise scarred the deer and my peep was sideways. Sucks. Made me go back to the recurve for a while...

Man I feel your pain, what should have been my first bowkill last year, never happened due to a stupid limb with dry leaves, the buck came in form exactly the opposite direction I expected, he was about 15-18 yards broadside and I came to full draw and just as I was bringing the pin onto his shoulder I hit this limb with my riser!!! The buck froze and stared right at me, I froze, after an eternity he started feeding again, I let down, took half a step back from the limb, he took 2 steps further, now he was 13-16 yards out now broadside, I came to full draw and the exact same thing happened again only this time he winded me and was gone!!!
I know your pain, hang in there, hopefully you will get another chance.
