How does it actually work?? I hunt a farm that has marshy areas and this would be great... I guess if I know how it worked? Would be nice for the early Teal season as well.

They absolutley work.Bugs are attracted to me likeugly on an ape and Thermacell keeps them away. I've used it bear hunting in Ontario and early goose season in Wisconsin.

Lab...I hunt in Eastern NC...South of Suffolk...Between the Great Dismal Swamp and the Chowan river...what isn't crop fields is swamp...My Thermal Cell is strapped to my climber...I don't go without and it works...

How it works...It has a small butane cylinder and a wafer pad that you place on top...you turn it on and their is a small flame inside that heats up the wafer...It needs to stay parallel to the ground or the flame goes out...The cylinder and wafer have to be replaced...I can't remember how long they last, I believe its 2-4 hours, the cylinder will last twice as long as the wafers...(or scent pad)...

Yep it works. Used it last year during bowseason and this year during turkey season. I hunt on the edge of a swamp close to the Arkansas-Louisiana border and if it will work there it will work anywhere.

"A butane cartridge heats a chemically treated repellent mat that keeps mosquitoes out of a 225-square-foot area for up to 12 hours". They work awesome. You will not be disapointed if bugs are an issue during your hunts.

I live in eastern NC also. Mine works great, I even use it in the evenings in the back yard when I am practicing shooting.

How it works was already described well. I buddy used it the last time we went night fishing. I am always getting torn up by bugs. He had it on his belt and it kept the bugs away from both of us.

Also works great on Midgeys too!

Got mine last year. Great in early season. Especially the evenings. The sun starts to go down and the skeeters come straight up the tree.

I heard they work real good but do they give off any kind of odor? I live in Mass and a couple of people have already died from EEE this year and all of the infected people are in my area of the state so I really need somthing that works! But I don't want to use anything that omitts an odoa.
