My brother and I used it last bow season with great success. We were both sitting at the base of two tree, about 10 feet apart with the ThermaCell between us. No bugs around and next thing we knew, a small buck walked right by us at a distance of 20 yards. The wind was in his favor yet he did not seem to mind the ThermaCell at all. We let him go due to his small size and age.

Yep - buy one.

I believe the waifer has an extract from chrysanthamums (sp?) - apparently mosquitos hate them?

I'm in Eastern NC also. The bugs are absolutely predatory.

I don't know how it works but I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

They're great.
