Succesful hunt, I'm proud of this mule deer!
I've got to say I've found that I have more patience bowhunting than I ever imagined. I just returned fromsouth central New Mexico wherethis 10 point mule deer came up behind me on the second morning of the season and I was turning to get my bow into position (I was 22 feet up in a pinon pine tree) and he heard meas my bow scraped a dead limb.....and bounded away. I was sick...he was a buck I wanted badly but doubted that I'd see him again. Six days later...after sitting up in that tree during several days of rainy, cold weather, he returned in a nice little bachelor group and I nailed him. This is my second mule deer with a bow and I gotta show it off! The picture quality is not good....I had the resolution too high on my camera and had to doctor it up to get it uploaded here...still an amatuer with the digital camera...but here it is.....
